I am sure there is a story to this photo, like Lois after Alan was born...she sat pouting. I am wondering if this is Ring, her dog beside her. There is a whole bunch of photos of Alan with this dog, I wonder if that is the same dog?

We have this photograph hanging in our family room. I wish I could have met Grandpa Dattge to know him personally rather than all the kind words from others. Others words ring true just from looking at this photo. Grandma is holding Deron and if I remember right, they are on Jones Beach in New York.
